Living in utopia: France Magazine

I love social history (in fact my friends think I might be Victorian), so when I heard about a 19th century philanthropist’s working village in the Hauts-de-France region - still lived in to this day - I headed straight there to take notes. This is not strictly true; the pandemic delayed the trip by 18 months. But it was worth the wait.
